On November 5, Peak Group and China Space Foundation (CSF) held a signing ceremony in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, acknowledging Peak's status as the only sports brand in cooperative partnership with the Chinese aerospace industry.

During the ceremony, Cheng Wen, deputy director-general of CSF, awarded the medal of honor for cooperative partners of the Chinese aerospace industry to Peak Group. Meanwhile, the secretary general of CSF, Zhang Yujiang, and the general manager of Peak Group, Xu Zhihua, signed the cooperation agreement.

Qi Jianmei, deputy director of the Fifth Bureau of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, also attended. "Aerospace capability represents a country's strength," said Peak Group chairman Xu Jingnan.

"As a private enterprise in China with a sense of national pride, boosting the domestic aerospace industry is Peak's mandatory duty," Xu Jingnan said.

Xu Jingnan also noted that while China has already made significant accomplishments in different industries, the nation needs an international brand. "As with aerospace, a brand enjoying high awareness also reflects the economic strength of a country," Xu Jingnan said. "We hope that Peak can become a domestic pioneer towards internationalization."

The CSF also recognized Peak's contribution to China's aerospace industry. Zhang said that Peak, as the leading Chinese sports brand, is the most internationalized and professional Chinese brand of all. "Peak's advanced branding and research capabilities are reflective of what Chinese aerospace has been dedicated to," Zhang said. "Our partnership will ensure greater success."

The spirit of aerospace is about striving, exploration and creativity, solidarity, cooperation and the courage to aim high. To reinforce the company's strength, Peak has integrated this spirit into its own company ethos, as well as insisting on the relentless pursuit of scientific breakthroughs.

Peak holds trademark registrations in more than 160 countries. The brand has also expanded its market across 100 countries and regions. By the first half of 2013, overseas sales accounted for 14.8 percent of Peak Group's total revenue, making it the most internationalized sports brand in China.
