A domestically designed and manufactured stealth unmanned military aircraft allegedly completed its first trial run on Thursday, according to news portal huanqiu.com.

The aircraft is said to be the first stealth drone China has ever made.

According to media reports, the trial run began at 1 pm Thursday afternoon and lasted for about 20 minutes at an unknown location.

The new aircraft, named Lijian or Sharp Sword, was allegedly designed by Shenyang Aircraft Design and Research Institute under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China and was manufactured by the Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry Group.
