The eyes of the boxing world will be on Macao this weekend as Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao gets back in the ring to battle Mexican-American Brandon Rios.

However, the host nation will be well represented on the card as well, as two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming faces Juan Tozcano in a flyweight bout.

Zou is China's most successful amateur boxer with three world titles alongside two Olympic gold medals from 2008 and 2012.

Since turning pro in April, Zou has won his first two fights, both in Macao. He should be pushed this time by his Mexican opponent who sports a 4-0 record.

Zou recently spent several weeks in the hometown of Manny Pacquiao in the Philippines where he got a first hand look at the eight-time world champion's dedication and work ethic inside the ring.

As for Pac-Man, he and Rios will meet for the WBO International welterweight title with Pacquaio vowing to bounce back after consecutive defeats against Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley.

The Macao fight will be Pacquiao's first outside the United States in seven years. Both Pacquaio and Zou are determined to walk out of the ring with their arms raised.

"Manny can control himself well and his timing was absolutely right. I learned a lot from him while I was in the Philippines. My aim is not to only beat my opponent but to get better. I need to practice more and improve my techniques and stamina," Zou says.
