Trade between Cambodia and the United States was valued at 2.55 billion US dollars in the first ten months of 2013, up 2 percent from 2.49 billion US dollars over the same period last year, the figures of the US Department of Commerce showed Friday.
Cambodia's export to the US totaled 2.36 billion US dollars during the January-October period this year, up 3 percent, while the country's import from the U. S. stood at 191 million US dollars, down 3.5 percent
The United States is Cambodia's largest export market. Main products the Southeast Asian nation exports to the US are apparel and footwear, and key items the country imports from the U. S. include vehicles, machinery and medical equipment and supplies.
Last year, the bilateral trade volume was valued at 2.92 billion US dollars, up 0.7 percent year-on-year.
