Israeli aircraft targeted and killed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday morning, the Israel Defense Forces said.

A statement said Ahmad Sa'ad was a key figure in Islamic Jihad who specialized in firing rockets into southern Israel, including five launched at the city of Asheklon last Wednesday.
