The venue for fresh round of nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers has not been finalized, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said here on Tuesday.

"It has not been finalized yet. Announcement will be made about the exact time and the venue of the talks," Afkham told reporters at the weekly press briefing.

Also, Iranian nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said a definite agreement has not been reached on the time and venue of the next round of the nuclear negotiations between Iran and six world powers, Press TV reported.

The two sides are still holding discussions to determine the time and place of the negotiations, he was quoted as saying by Press TV.

On Monday, the official IRNA news agency reported that Iran and the world powers would resume nuclear negotiations in New York in February.

"The negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group will be held in New York to the end of (the Iranian month of) Bahman (before Feb. 19), which aims at reaching a final agreement," a source close to Iranian nuclear negotiating team was quoted as saying by IRNA.
