Stephen James Gallacher won here on Sunday On the Majlis course in New Dubai, the Omega Dubai Desert Classics, defending the title for the first time in the tournament's 25 year-old history.

With a final score of -16 at the end of the three-day tournament, the 39-year old Scotsman who started weakly and finished strongly cashed in 408,000 dollars worth of prize money. Gallacher was succeeded by Emiliano Grillo form Argentine and American Brooks Koepka.
