A booby-trapped motorcycle went off at a main square of Syria's central Hama city on Sunday, leaving an unknown number of casualties, the official SANA news agency reported.

The blast took place at the famous Asi Square in Hama city, said SANA, spelling no further details. But the pro-government Sham FM radio said the blast killed one person and injured three others.

Separately, the pro-government al-Khabar TV said that a suicide car bomber, from the radical Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), detonated his explosive-packed vehicle at a black market for selling oil in the eastern Deir al-Zour province, killing at least ten people and wounding tens of others.

The ISIL fighters have been engaged recently in a fight against another radical group, Nusra Front, in many Syrian areas, especially in the oil-rich Deir al-Zour, whose oil has been illegally stolen by the rebels and sold to external parties in black markets there.
