The UN High Commissioner for Refugees said Monday in its weekly report that the total number of refugees in Lebanon has exceeded 915,000.

It said the number of registered refugees has reached 867,400 while 47,700 others are still awaiting their registration.

Lebanon has repeatedly called on the international community and the donor countries to fulfill their pledges to help Lebanon accommodate the steady influx of refugees, which burdens its economy, saying the country is unable to cope without assistance.
