All-Star Anthony Davis was under day-to-day situation after spraining his left shoulder, the New Orleans Pelicans announced on Thursday.

Davis got the injury in the Pelicans' loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old big man averages 20.2 points and 10.2 rebounds for the Pelicans this season.

His 3.0 blocks per game was the best current record in the league.
