At least two Palestinians were injured Friday during separate clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian protesters, medics said.
One was shot by Israeli troops in a weekly protest in a northeast area of the Gaza Strip near the borderline with Israel, according to Ashraf al-Qedra, a Gaza emergency spokesman.
Israel soldiers used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the dozens of stone-hurling young protesters.
According to official figures from the Hamas-run ministry of health, Israeli soldiers have shot dead 13 Palestinians near the border since Israel and Hamas reached an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire in 2012.
Meanwhile, another Palestinian was injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers near the West Bank town of Beit Zeit, hospital sources said.
The violence broke out during the burial of a Palestinian activist who was killed by Israeli soldiers Thursday. The killing triggered protests in multiple West Bank towns.
