To commemorate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Slovakia, a series of cultural events offering opportunities for visitors to experience the taste and culture of Slovakia will be held at the Swissotel Beijing from April 7 to 11.

Frantisek Dlhopolcek, the ambassador from the Slovak Republic, said that he believes cultural exchanges can create more communication between countries. "I can't think of any better way than enjoying different aspects of culture - art, music and of course Slovak traditional cuisine," he said commenting on the events.

As a lover of Chinese painting, Ambassador Dlhopolcek also organized several Chinese water color paintings to be shown at the embassy, such as the latest exhibition from Chinese artist Zhang Xiaoyou. Artworks from Chinese artist Yang Mingyi and Slovakia artist Vladimir Gazovic will also be displayed during the series of events next month.

In addition to paintings, and musical performances, traditional Slovakia cuisine will also be offered at the Swissotel next month.
