Defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande suffered a shocking defeat to Changchun Yatai 1-3 in the third round of the 2014 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Yatai were goalless in the first two rounds but the almost-relegated team last season broke the deadlock first in the 35th minute when Fatos Beqiraj scored a header from Eninho's free kick. Four minutes later, Walter Iglesias scored a second goal for Yatai.

In the second half, Eninho increased the lead to 3-0 and Guangzhou Evergrande only responded with a penalty in the 56th minute.
