China (Dalian) International Garment & Textile Fair (CIGTF) held a press conference in Beijing's 798 Art District on Thursday to announce its up and coming garment fair.

According to the press conference, CIGTF aims to deliver new ideas and exhibit the fashion style of the city of Dalian, as well as take the lead in the Chinese clothing industry at a time when the industry is entering a key phase of transformation.

Executive deputy director of CIGTF, Zhang Xiaopeng, said the schedule of the fair which will be held from September 20 to 23 in Dalian, Liaoning Province.

They also signed a letter for strategic cooperation with the China National Garment Association and added that they will co-found a forum for the Chinese clothing industry to cooperate with countries in North-East Asia.

Dalian is a city well-known for its clothing industry and the annual Dalian International Fashion Week.
