Cambodian PM to visit Azerbaijan, Belarus on ties

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a high-level delegation on official visits to Azerbaijan and Belarus later this month, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a media statement on Friday.

The premier will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Commerce Minister Sun Chanthol, and other members of the government.

Hun Sen will visit Azerbaijan on April 21-23. During the visit, he will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Artur Rasi-zade, and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of bilateral consultations, the statement said.

The premier will then tour Belarus from April 23 to 25, where he will hold talks with his counterpart Mikhai Myasnikovich.

The two prime ministers will witness the signing of nine documents on cooperation in economy, trade, investment, banking and finance, health, industry, mines, energy, defense, and agriculture.
