An official in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province was sacked after online chat records revealing he was carrying on an affair during office hours were leaked on the Internet.

The official at the local land and resources bureau, surnamed Zhang, was caught with his pants down when sultry conversations on chat messenger QQ between him and another woman were anonymously posted online April 10, media reported Monday.

The whistleblower also claimed Zhang arranged a rendezvous with the mystery woman at nearby hotels during the day.

An inside source identified Zhang as the Wucheng branch director of the land administration office in Jinhua.

During their conversations, the alleged mistress warned Zhang that her husband was becoming suspicious and had printed out all her mobile phone records.

However, she reassured Zhang she had already deleted any incriminating QQ chat records and cell phone text messages.

The local disciplinary commission is investigating the case, the report said.
