An anonymous staff member of the Beijing Municipal Commission of City Administration and Environment said this when introducing a small truck at a technology and equipment exhibition targeting illegal ads posted and spray-painted all over walls, sidewalks and other public surfaces. As increasing numbers of ads are posted with high-viscosity glue or spray paint, ordinary methods of removing them no longer work. The vehicle uses a jet of hot water to blast away ads in five seconds. The price of such vehicles ranges from thousands of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. (Source: The Beijing Youth Daily)
