A migrant worker seeking owed wages from his employer hatched a fowl plan to truck 1,130 newborn ducklings to his house in Jinjiang, Fujian Province on Monday. Zhang Xiang (pseudonym), 60, had the ducks transported 110 kilometers from Putian, Fujian Province to his boss' doorstep, demanding he pay his salary of 3,000 yuan ($482.1).

The flock soon occupied the house of contractor He Bing (pseudonym), where they quickly made themselves at home by pooping all over his floor and belongings.

However, things started really going quackers when the ducklings' owner, surnamed Chen, asked Zhang for the promised 7,000 yuan ($1,125) to rent his animals for the stunt.

Zhang said that He had all his money and he was responsible for any incurred duck rental fees. As the trio argued over owed money, a number of ducklings reportedly died.

Chen and He eventually called the police, who stuck Zhang with compensating Chen for the dead ducklings, plus transportation costs.

The wages dispute remains unresolved.
