Turkish army on Saturday found the four French journalists kidnapped by a extremist religious force in Syria last June on the Turkish-Syrian border, local Dogan News Agency reported.

The four French journalists were abducted by the rebel group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in June 2013. They were reportedly found in Turkey's southeastern Sanliurfa province where they were blindfolded and handbound.

The rescued journalists said that they were taken to the place last night by an unknown group. They have been sent to a Turkish hospital for health check. So far no group has stood out for the release of the hostages.
