What do you think about regulations that armed police officers need to file a report every time they draw their weapons?

More than 1,000 city police officers started patrolling the streets with firearms since Sunday. They will be armed with specially-designed 9mm revolvers that can hold six live rounds or rubber bullets and have a range of 50 meters. The authority has listed 15 situations in which use of the weapons is authorized. The officers must file a report detailing every incident in which they drew their weapon, even if they don't fire a shot.

These reports are a reasonable requirement as police should use weapons according to standardized procedures.

50.2% (6,410)

These reports are unnecessary if only some designated patrolmen are allowed to use the weapons.

9.48% (1,210)

I'm worried that the weapons will go missing.

24.74% (3,159)

It is hard to comment on the effect of the new regulation right now.

15.58% (1,990)

What do you think about the fact that half of undergraduates complete their  theses within 10 days?

Under pressure to find jobs, many soon-to-be graduates have insufficient time to concentrate properly on their theses. Local media reported that more than 90 percent of local graduates finish their thesis in under 30 days, while 47 percent finish within 10 days. Half of students polled, as well as some education experts, said they thought it unnecessary for undergraduate students to write a thesis.

I think graduate theses can be replaced with other assignments.

29.14% (199)

It is understandable that students are so busy job-hunting that they cannot concentrate on their theses.

13.76% (94)

I think the problem lies with the students.

14.64% (100)

These students shouldn't be allowed to graduate.

42.46% (290)
