The gold price in Hong Kong went down 108 HK dollars to open at 11,930 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,290.50 US dollars a troy ounce, down 11.68 US dollars at the latest exchange rate of 1 US dollar against 7.761 HK dollars.
