Anaheim is home to Disneyland, the happiest place in the world. Recently it hosted WonderCon, an event that attracts cos-players, comic book enthusiasts and genre fans all flocking to the city’s convention center to check out a range of booths, panels and special programming. Smaller in scale than San Diego’s Comic-Con International, WonderCon still draws movie studios and television networks eager to showcase their upcoming titles.

WonderCon is an annual comic book, science fiction, and motion picture convention. As a baby, of sorts, to the massive Comic Con, Wonder Con does have its serious cosplayers spending months and sometimes thousands of dollars creating elaborate costumes.

But WonderCon isn’t just a glorified costume party or a geek-shopping spree. Major studios showcase their upcoming summer blockbusters to generate buzz. Warner Brothers gave fans a sneak peek at their releases - Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt and crowd favorite Godzilla, to be released in May.

20th Century Fox showed off their upcoming summer releases which included Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: Days of Future Past and their animated sequel How To Train Your Dragon 2. And with the stars from these motion pictures available to meet and greet, we had to ask some fans who they were there to see.

At WonderCon 2014, the producers of the award winning drama Homeland are releasing a brand new project – a mini-series with big stars and even bigger story lines – Legends is a thrilling spy drama that follows a deep cover operative who is able to transform himself into a different person with every new job he takes on.

The cast and executive producer appeared before an enthusiastic crowd to present their new espionage TV thriller called Legends.

After the panel, the stars of the show explained why events like WonderCon are so important when introducing a new show.

This mini-series does seem to contain a lot of elements that make a show legendary and it’s no wonder why the producers decided to showcase it here at WonderCon.
