The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) does not believe material found on a beach in Western Australia's South West is connected to the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, the ATSB commissioner Martin Dolan told ABC Radio (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) on Thursday morning.
According to the ABC Radio, ATSB spokesman Martin Dolan has ruled out any link of the material with
MH370.
"We've carefully examined detailed photographs that were taken for us by the police, and we're satisfied that it's not a lead in terms of the search for MH370," he said Thursday morning.
Western Australia Police have attended a report of material washed ashore 10 kilometers east of Augusta and have secured the material on Wednesday afternoon. The ATSB analyzed the picture of this material overnight.
