White collar soccer fans looking to score a day off to watch the upcoming World Cup in Brazil can get an assist with fake online doctor's notes.

As China is 11 hours ahead of host city Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, most matches are scheduled between midnight and 6 am Beijing time.

In order to help sports fans not miss any of the excitement, vendors on Taobao, China's largest e-commerce website, are selling fake medical documentation from 10 ($1.6) to 300 yuan.

The blank notes allow truants to fill in personal information, as well as diagnosis and duration of sick leave. Some vendors will simulate a doctor's scribbled handwriting for added authenticity.

One online store claims its sick leave notes were issued from a hospital in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, which allow for up to a 15-day sick leave. The shop also offers medical exam reports and expense receipts for 300 yuan.

Hospitals officials in Jiangsu said official receipts are stamped with official department codes and normally allow up to seven days of sick leave. Hospitals also keep copies of every receipt.

"Any doctor who does not issue sick notes according to protocol will be punished by their respective hospitals," an employee at a Jiangsu hospital was quoted as saying.
