Chinese social media is celebrating a group of doctors in Fuzhou, Fujian Province that were photographed exhausted on the operating room floor after finishing a 32-hour brain procedure.

The viral photos show the spent doctors lying on the floor at Fujian Medical University Union Hospital on Sunday.

One doctor is seen flashing a "victory" sign.

The 32-hour operation, which began early on June 21, involved three surgeons, six anesthesiologists and eight nurses conducting six separate surgeries to remove a series of brain tumors from a single patient.

The operation now holds the record for the longest performed at the hospital.

Net users voiced their appreciation for the doctors' dedication and "using their own lives to save others."

"They are real doctors who are responsible for lives and fulfill their promises to patients and their families. You are good examples," posted Sina Weibo user Zhuang Mingxi.
