The Nigerian Senate has again enjoined the Super Eagles to go all out and beat the Blues of France in their World Cup Round of 16 match on Monday.

President of the Nigerian Senate David Mark made the call in a statement on Sunday, saying the Super Eagles and officials to cultivate and sustain the team spirit they had displayed so far in the tournament in Brazil.

According to him, team work is the needed ingredient to excel in the competition.

Mark, who had earlier led the Federal Government delegation to the opening ceremony in Brazil, showered encomiums on the Super Eagles for their successes and commitment to national duty so far.

He reminded them that they were not just flying the Nigerian flag but that of the African, a task, he said, should be defended with honor and dignity.

He expressed optimism that the Eagles would fly high if they worked together as a team with a common mission and purpose.

He gave the assurance that government would honor its part of the bargain in terms of logistics and welfare for the team.
