72-hour Gaza ceasefire comes into effect

An Egyptian-brokered 72-hour ceasefire in the Gaza Strip accepted by Israel and Hamas-led militants groups in the Palestinian enclave took effect on 8:00 am (5:00 am GMT) Tuesday.
