A woman in Shanghai who claimed not to have enough money to pay for her taxi ride offered her cabbie a few free gropes instead.

The taxi driver surnamed Wu, who is in his 50s, said he picked up the young woman in Jiading district on early morning of August 11, local media reported.

After driving some distance, the woman seated in the passenger’s side told the cabbie she did not have enough money to pay for the ride.
 
Despite Wu claiming he would not charge her, the woman leaned toward him and attempted to hold his hand. She then asked Wu to “touch” her.

"This is unfair. You can touch me for a bit," the woman told Wu.

Wu rejected the woman and ordered her to behave herself, he said.

The cabbie said he threatened to go to the police when she was about to lift her T-shirt. 

Wu eventually dropped off the woman at her destination, free of charge.
