China finished fifth after beating Japan 3-1 (25-22, 31-33, 25-20, 25-21) in the Asian Cup men's volleyball tournament on Sunday.

The champion was South Korea which defeated India in straight sets in the final.

Kazakhstan came third after beating Iran 3-1.
