France's new cabinet unveiled

France's Secretary-General of the Elysee Palace, Jean-Pierre Jouyet, unveiled on Tuesday France's new government headed by Prime Minister Manuel Valls?one day after the resignation of the former government.

The list included 16 ministers, of which 8 were female, with Emmanuel Macron appointed as Economy Minister to replace the ousted minister anti-austerity policy Arnaud Montebourg.

Emmanuel Macron, 36-year-old, former Deputy General Secretary of the presidency and a close ally of the French President Francois Hollande, is tasked to promote ailing growth and weak industry of the country.

Valls on Monday submitted the resignation of his government to Hollande, one day after Montebourg leveled his blunt criticism against the government's economic policies.
