The Third Beijing Intermediate People's Court recently affirmed the original judgment made by Huairou District Court over the case of three sisters beating court staff during their maintenance obligation trial between their father and them, reported the Beijing Times.

The sisters, surnamed Wen, were sued by their father for failing to meet their maintenance obligation. When the case was on trail on May 22, 2013, the three sisters abused and hit a court employee surnamed Zhu who was filming the case.

The three sisters were sentenced from one year to one year four months for their actions in the court.
