According to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Population and Family Planning, they will expand the free premarital health check from rural households to the city population, reported the Beijing Morning Post.

Currently there are three categories of people eligible for free health checks: people with rural households, people with Beijing households, and non-beijingers who have resided in Beijing longer than six months.

According to the commission, all residents of Beijing will be entitled to enjoy free premarital health checks starting in 2015.
