China might not yet be a leader in global fashion, but there's certainly a wild variety of looks - both good and bad - parading our streets every day.

So who are the best (or perhaps worst) dressers? What are the trends to admire (or avoid)? What are the iconic "Chinese styles"?

Share your impressions of "Stylish China" with us - just post a photo of somebody whose style makes them stand out from the crowd (whether or not for the right reasons) for a chance to win a pair of reuseable Global Times chopsticks and a limited edition Global Times T-shirt in our latest "Speaking of China ..." reader contest!

HOW CAN I ENTER?
To enter:

1. Take a photo of somebody in China whose clothing or style "stands out from the crowd."

2. Follow Global Times on Facebook (www.facebook.com/globaltimesnews), Twitter (@globaltimesnews) or our Instagram feed (@globaltimes)

3. Next, either:

a) Post your photo on Global Times' Facebook timeline (not your own timeline)

or

b) Post your photo to your own Twitter feed and @globaltimesnews

or

c) Post your photo to your Instagram feed and @globaltimes

4. Add the contest hashtag #StylishChina

5. Your entry will be submitted to a prize draw, with 10 winners being selected at random by Global Times editors

The closing date for entries is  4 PM (Beijing time) on October 23, 2014.


WHAT CAN I WIN, AND HOW ARE WINNERS SELECTED?
Each entry will be submitted to the final prize draw, with 10 winners being selected at random by Global Times editors. Each winner will receive a pair of reuseable Global Times chopsticks and a limited edition Global Times T-shirt.

HOW WILL WINNERS BE ANNOUNCED AND PRIZES DISTRIBUTED?
The names of all winners will be announced on the Global Times Facebook page on October 30,2014. Prizes will be delivered by mail. Winners must provide a valid mailing address in order for Global Times to guarantee delivery of prizes. If a prize winner cannot be reached by the Global Times within seven days of the results being announced, that prize winner shall forfeit the right to claim their prize, and the Global Times reserves the right to choose another winner in their place.
