8 dead, 6 injured in N China accident

Eight people were killed and another six injured after a truck crashed into a bus stop in north China's Hebei Province on Tuesday morning, local authorities said.

The crash happened in downtown Zhangjiakou City at 8:17 am after the truck's brakes failed, causing it overturn before crashing into the bus stop. The injured were rushed to hospital.

Investigation into the case is under way.
