From the thread "Admission to see the rubber duck remains 10 yuan per person"

The original rubber duck created by the Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman will be on display at Century Park until November 23. Before the exhibition opened, news media reported that the park would charge visitors 40 yuan ($6.50) to see the duck, which upset lots of people. After studying the issue, the park decided to keep admission at 10 yuan per person.

Many people expressed their discontent online. "It will cost a family of three 120 yuan to visit the park. I would rather spend the money on a roast duck," one forum poster wrote.

Many people thought it was unfair that Shanghai residents had to pay to see the duck, which had been exhibited for free in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Beijing.

The park's administration retained the right to raise admission prices when the park is hosting special events.
