Trade show to welcome world’s best winemakers

The Chinese mainland's largest specialized wine exhibition ProWine China will come back to the Shanghai New International Expo Center on November 12. The three-day show expects to welcome more than 650 wine and spirit exhibitors from 38 countries, representing a 12-percent increase in the number of exhibiting companies and the debut of eight countries and regions including New Zealand, Macedonia and Serbia.

The country to provide the highest number of exhibitors is France, followed by Argentina and Spain. Grands Chais de France and CASTEL from France and Felix Solis Avantis and Codorníu from Spain will be among the numerous leading wine producers found at the show.

In addition to presenting high-class exhibitors from around the world, the show emphasizes on providing high-quality wine education and training in China by hosting educational activities and events through the exhibition.

To name just a few, the first ProWine China Industry Summit, which will take place on November 13, will focus on wine investment opportunities and market trends in China. Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) will partner with ProWine China to host the three-day WSET forum, which invites professional wine lecturers from China and the UK to hold educational wine courses on a wide selection of topics.

ProWine China is a sister event from the world leading trade fair for wines and spirits - ProWein of Düsseldorf, Germany. ProWine China is organized in partnership by Messe Düsseldorf Group and China International Exhibitions Ltd, a member of the Allworld Exhibitions network. The wine exhibition will be held alongside FHC China, the country's leading trade fair for imported food.
