The pavement project aims to eliminate obstacles for the wheelchiar-bound students and enables them to move around the school more easier.

The pavement has been built in front of a special unit building of Solomon Dihutso Primary School, Mogoditshane area, western Gaborone. The public school has around 900 students, among them 72 disabilities.

The embassy started its relationship with the school in 2013 and donated books, schoolbags and sportswears to it. School students and staff were also invited to the embassy's open day last November.

"I am looking forward to making joint efforts with you to further strengthen our relationship and bring more benefits to the students," said the embassador.

Principal education officer of Mogoditshane Elias Lebana and school officers expressed their gratitude to the embassy.
