People on Thursday bid for qualification to run snack stalls at the eight-day Ditan Temple Fair in Beijing during the upcoming Spring Festival holidays, which fall in February 2015. The highest bid for a stall was 260,000 yuan ($41,830), with the bidder planning to sell lamb steaks and estimating that the daily turnover could reach 100,000 yuan.
