About 320 people rang in the new year in an old Shanghai-style party at Le Sun Chine in Changning district on New Year's Eve. With the theme of "old Shanghai glamour," guests had to dress in the style of 1930s. Think of ladies in qipao and gentlemen in suits and opium pipes.

The vintage countdown party was organized by Kick the Gong Around, which specializes themed parties in Shanghai. The group held a Vintage Winter Fest from December 12 to 14. The event drew 2,000 visitors per day.
