French national captain Thierry Dusautoir has extended his contract with Top 14 club Toulouse for a further two seasons, he announced Monday.

Capped 70 times by France, Dusautoir joined Toulouse in 2006 from Biarritz after spells with Bordeaux-Begles and Colomiers,

and has won three French titles and one European Cup in the club's colors.

He has captained the national side since 2009 and during last year's tour of Australia surpassed Fabien Pelous' record of captaining France on 42 occasions.

Dusautoir  has now led the side out 46 times.
