Documentary ‘Business Ideas in China’ collected by the China Advertisement Museum

China's first commercial documentary Business Ideas in China, produced by Chinese streaming site iQiyi, has officially become part of the China Advertisement Museum's collection, according to a statement released by the Beijing-based museum at a press conference on Tuesday.

The documentary focuses its lens on a group of Chinese enterprises including Lenovo, Huawei and Xiaomi.

 Directed by He Xinhao, the film showcases the real stories behind these big names and how they learned from their foreign counterparts in order to redefine people's ideas about Chinese companies and "made in China."

One of the newest areas that iQiyi has begun to explore, documentaries reveal the streaming site's ambitions to integrate content and broadcasting.

Leng Qianqiu, marketing director for iQiyi, explained that the company plans to promote the documentary in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and then later head to this June's Cannes Advertising Festival in France.

Ding Junjie, director of the China Advertisement Museum, commented that the museum chose the documentary for its significant depiction of the evolution of business in China.
