On the intellectual property rights

China's top judicial authorities should strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights (IPR) and serve as a protector for enterprises' self-innovation, as it has a role in whether the country's economy could move upward.

Li Lu, an NPC deputy and vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, was quoted as saying by the Xinhua News Agency in a report published Saturday.
