The United Nations said Tuesday that 8 million Nepali people of 39 districts are affected by the major earthquakes which hit across Nepal Saturday and Sunday.

The United Nations has allocated 15 million US dollars to enable rapid scale-up of humanitarian operations in the Himalayan Country, the UN office said.
