Chinese actress Tang Wei is starring in director Zhang Hao's new romance movie Only You together with veteran actor Liao Fan, winner of the Silver Bear for Best Actor for his performance in Black Coal, Thin Ice in 2014.

The romance comedy, which features some scenes in Italy, is set to hit big screens across the country on July 24, according to a press conference held by the film's production studio Huayi Brothers in Beijing on Tuesday.

This is Tang's second time acting in romance comedy after her part in Finding Mr. Right, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at 2014's Hong Kong Film Awards. In the movie, fate has played a joke on her as she meets the perfect man for her right before getting married to someone else.

Feng Xiaogang, the movie's producer and also a veteran comedy director, said at the conference that he was deeply impressed by Tang's acting in Finding Mr. Right and hoped that she could bring that level of acting to the new film.

Wang Zhonglei from Huayi Brothers added that, "this is a must-see-movie for this summer and will be a very pleasant experience."
