Anything but the title would satisfy Argentina's female field hockey team at the upcoming Pan-American Games in Toronto, according to their head coach Santiago Capurro.

"All tournaments are important and the girls want to win all the tournaments. Therefore we use that to build up experience but also as a challenge to win the gold," Capurro told channel TyC Sports on Tuesday.

"The Lionesses" is undergoing a transition after the best female hockey player of all time, Luciana Aymar, retired, said Capurro.

"This is a team-in-training and we are half-way through the process. We participated in a 'World League' semifinal and we came fourth," he added.

Capurro referred to the tournament a few weeks back in Valencia, Spain where the Argentinians lost to Germany in the match for third place.

The South American team was part of group A in the Panamericans which also includes Mexico (who they will play July 13), Canada (July 15) and the Dominican Republic (July 17).

Apart from Aymar's retirement, the team will also lack the presence of Carla Rebecchi. The World Champion 2010 and double Olympic medallist has injured her left knee.
