After grabbing almost 525 million yuan ($84.58 million) and 974 million yuan at the box office with his two The Man From Macau films during the Spring Festival holidays over the last two years, Hong Kong director Wong Jing is back for another holiday comedy titled Baobei Dangjia (Lit: baby boss).

Holding a production launch party for the film in Hong Kong on Sunday, Wong explained Baobei Dangjia features a little girl who must use her wits and courage to deal with a thief. Having acted in a supporting role in The Man From Macau II, Wang Shiling, the child star who rose to popularity on reality show Where Are We Going Dad? will be the heroine of the new work.

According to Wong, the film will raise this type of film to a new level. "Of course there will be a lot of jokes, because they are an important element of family films. But the special effects and action scenes are new for this type," Wong said.

The film is scheduled for the Spring Festival holiday 2016.
