Foreign trade volume in Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region dropped by 35.09 percent year-on-year to 3.34 billion yuan ($545.7 million) in the first half of 2015 due to a devastating earthquake in April, Lhasa customs said Monday.
The trade decline was attributed to an earthquake on April 25, which brought Tibet's exports to Nepal to a standstill in May and June.
