Air troops for the upcoming V-Day parade on Sep. 3 are busily engaged in training as they anticipate a flawless display.

The troops, selected from army, naval and air force, are making all-out efforts to achieve a perfect military review by training diligently at multiple air bases in north China, Xinhua learned from a military source on Monday.

An air squadron formed by 151 aircraft flew over Tian'anmen Square in central Beijing with impeccable precision in the 2009 National Day military parade.

The air unit will learn from previous events, but set a higher goal under much more complex circumstances, according to the military source.

The urban infrastructure of Beijing has gone through enormous transformation with a lot of tall buildings erected along the air route, posing distraction to the airmen, the military source told Xinhua.

The weather condition may not be as favorable as in 2009, with a possibility of rainfall, fog or even thunderstorms according to weather forecasts.

The military source said the type and number of aircraft to be showcased in the parade will set a record high, with more sophisticated groups and formations.

The upcoming parade will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory of the war of China's resistance against the Japanese invasion.
