Local police confirmed Wednesday the suspect in killings of two Virginia journalists during a TV live interview earlier in the day shot himself.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe told a local radio station that the suspect appeared to be a disgruntled employee of the same TV station.
The shooting happened during a live broadcast around 6:45 a.m. local time (1045 GMT) at a shopping mall in Moneta, Virginia. Part of the shooting was broadcast since it was a live show.
