China, Japan and South Korea inaugurated a Network of Trilateral Cooperation Think-Tanks (NTCT) on Monday in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin Province, to facilitate the cooperation of the three countries and regional peace.

Committed to intergovernmental dialogue and communication between China, Japan and South Korea, the NTCT will study the priorities, problems and other issues relating to the trilateral cooperation and come up with policy suggestions.

"This is a significant mission. We don't want to merely establish another general think-tank. We want it to have its own characteristics and bring up reliable research reports," said Qin Yaqing, president of China Foreign Affairs University.
